Immigration is still stupid and all I've heard from them since I turned in our paper work is that they have accepted it as of Feb 20th. That just means that they HAVE IT. Soon...supposedly, I should receive some other information from them...Hopefully saying that they have approved our case and have sent it to the National Visa Center for the rest of this hellacious paperwork fiasco.
Right now I still feel jetlagged and awful. This time I've managed not to spend all my days back home in tears. Only when I think too much, which I'm avoiding at all costs. This time I know at least that this can't take too much longer than the rest of this awful year.
I had a wonderful time in Bulgaria with my husband though. We relaxed, cooked, hiked, watched movies and generally fell in synch with one another like a new married couple should. I love him now more than ever. All we have to do now is teach him to cook and me to clean.
I feel bad about not taking more artistic photos while I was in Bulgaria because really the mountains and Peshtera were gorgeous in the Summer. But I mostly photographed Metodi and I so I would have pictures to look at when I had to leave. He took almost all the artsy pics and I'll let him upload them himself.
Ciao for now. Might write again when we get his VISA... Pray to your respective deities for us.
<3 Sam
