Report a Policy Violation
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Um...this was something I did for Painting 4 or 5, dunno. I wanted to do something to kind of spoof my teacher who does all these strange almost collage paintings with eye wrenching colour schemes and to just cut loose and do something I wanted instead of another lame-o this and that hodgepodge assignment. So I did a Coop-esque, cartoony fantasy. (I like Coop's style, not necessarily the content, lol) I love to doodle little strange creatures and bugs...this is basically a glorified doodle in oil paint. And I got away with it.
 My professor wasn't exactly pleased...maybe if I'd glued some irridescent beads to it he would've liked it. I really liked my painting prof, btw. I was just a little jaded by this painting. Senior last semester and all. Oil on canvas, 30 x 36 |
